In her spare time, Martha is an avid baker and weightlifter, writes short stories, and is currently working on a fantasy novel inspired by her husband, Elliott.

Lori is our go-to designer for infographics and interactive material creation. In addition, Lori also creates design concepts and works on many of our print and web marketing materials. In her free time, she creates line art, icons, mixed media paintings, and enjoys working as a designer for non-profits.

Bruce Heyl

Designer

With over thirty years of design experience, Bruce has wide-ranging skills ranging from concepting and layout development to from-scratch graphics and image retouching. He is also Holbrook’s resident accessibility programming guru. An art lover (especially film and literature), he lives for family merrymaking and outdoor adventures large and small.

Elliott Engstrand

Bookkeeper and Project Manager

Elliott joined Holbrook in 2021 as a bookkeeper and project manager at the suggestion of his then-fiancée Martha. He has a BFA in Painting, a minor in Psychology, and the personality of a Vulcan. He spends his workday entering numbers into half a dozen spreadsheets on two computers at once. In his spare time, he paints, lifts weights, and plays Magic the Gathering.

Melissa is a seasoned creative professional with 17 years of experience. She has a strong background in print design and production but can also handle design for digital and web. Prior to joining Holbrook, Melissa worked with companies large and small and in a variety of industries. Outside the office, she is a culinary enthusiast who loves trying new things.
